A Memorial Service for Edward “Ed” Jay Leatherman, age 51, of Enid, will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2009, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Meier officiating.    Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

             He was born to Jay D. and Jo Ann (Long) Leatherman on March 4, 1957, in Ringwood, and passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at his home in Enid.

            Ed was raised by his mother and stepfather, Jo Ann and Neil Bolenbaugh, in Carrier, and attended school in Kremlin.  On November 19, 1999, he married Wanda L. Bruce in Clayton, New Mexico, and they made their home in Enid.  Ed worked as a welder in the oil field and was also a long haul truck driver. 

             He is survived by his wife, Wanda of the home; and his parents, Jo Ann and Neil Bolenbaugh of Enid.
