A memorial service for
Mark Antony Lemley, age
36, of Kingfisher, will
be held at 2:00 P.M.
Friday, October 10,
2008, at the
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home Chapel in Enid,
with Pastor Gordon Epps
officiating. Cremation
arrangements are by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home and Crematory.
Mark was born to
Mona and Troy Lemley on
September 15, 1972, in
Enid, and lost his
short, but hard fought
battle with cancer on
Monday, October 6, 2008,
in Oklahoma City.
Mark grew up in
Drummond and Lovington,
NM and graduated from
Lovington High School.
He then served in the
Army National Guard and
was a member of “Up With
People”, and performed
all over the world. He
lived in Troy, Ohio and
then recently in
Phoenix, Arizona. He
worked at The Clothiers
as an accountant.
He is survived by
his parents, Troy and
Mona Lemley of
Kingfisher; two
brothers, Jr. and wife
Natalie of Drummond,
Stephen and wife Becky
of Lovington, NM; nieces
and nephews, Amanda,
Christa and Kaitlyn, all
of Drummond, and Haley
and Jerrod of Lovington,
NM; paternal grandmother
Ruby Lemley of
Lovington, NM; maternal
Grandpa and
step-Grandmother Murle
and Linda Gearhart of
Stillwater; many aunts,
uncles, cousins and
friends.
He was preceded in
death by his paternal
Granddaddy Alton Lemley
of Lovington, NM; Uncle
Tommy Lemley of
Cheyenne, WY; Uncle
Terry Lemley of
Lovington, NM; and
maternal Grandma Ethel
Gearhart of Enid.
He will be missed
by all who knew him.
