            A funeral service for Leo Dalfred McKee, age 77, of Enid, will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 14, 2007, at Waukomis Christian Church, with Rev. Dave Jones officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

            He was born to Lee Roy and Blanche Elizabeth (Haskins) McKee on October 27, 1929, in Chandler, and died Thursday, May 10, 2007 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid.

            Leo served in the Army Air Corp.  On December 31, 1954, he married Frances Rose in Enid, and they made their home there.  He was the owner and operator of Leo and Fran’s Courier Service in Enid.  He was a member of Waukomis Christian Church.  Leo loved fishing, playing the guitar, and square dancing.  He was a caller for Shirts & Skirts Square Dance Club.

            He is survived by his wife Frances of the home; three daughters, Marilyn Fuxa and husband Benny of Bison, Debbie Peterman and husband Ron of Waukomis, and Katrina Krupke and husband Ken of Newalla; three sons, John Cain and wife Kim of Enid, Rance McKee and wife Robin of Enid, and Koty McKee and wife Debbie of Mustang; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; one brother Oral McKee of Texas; and one sister Betty Joy McKee of Florida.

            Leo was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy; mother Blanche Sharp; stepfather Roe Sharp; brother Leroy; grandson James Cain; and great grandson Dakota Buckminster.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Waukomis Christian Church.
