A memorial service for Leona Mae Ayers, age 59, of Enid, will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Calvary Chapel.  Visitation and viewing will be Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

She was born to Elmer Fulson and Lena Lou (DeBoard) Anderson on October 5, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA, and died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at her home in Enid.

She grew up in California and attended schools there.  Leona moved to Enid in 2002.
She attended Calvary Chapel.  She loved making jewelry and playing bingo.

Leona is survived by her father, Elmer Anderson of Enid; her children, Julena Smith and Lonnie Troxell of Arkansas, Michael D. McGirr of California, and Fulson Hirshman of Enid; six grandchildren; three sisters, Marian Smith of California, Stephanie Boswell and Teresa Crawford, both of Enid.
