Lester Henry Kraft, age
80, will be at 11:00
A.M. Thursday at First
United Methodist Church
Wesley Chapel, with
Rev. David Wiggs
officiating.
Cremation arrangements
are by Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home and
Crematory. There
will be no visitation or
viewing at the funeral
home.
He was born to David
and Bertha (Patenaude)
Kraft on September 5,
1927 in Dunseith, North
Dakota, and died
Tuesday, October 30,
2007 at St. Mary’s
Regional Medical Center
in Enid.
Lester grew up in
Dunseith, and then
served in the United
States Navy during World
War II. After his
discharge, he lived in
Wyoming, where he was a
farmer and rancher.
On
March 22, 1953, he
married Alice Chenoweth
in Worland, Wyoming.
They resided in Worland,
where he served on the
Worland School Board and
worked for L.U. Sheep
Company for forty years
until his retirement
The moved to Enid in
2000. He was a
member of First United
Methodist Church.
He is survived by
his wife, Alice of the
home; two sons, Joseph
R. Kraft and wife Nancy
of Euless, TX, and Dr.
Andrew P. Kraft and wife
Linda of Enid; four
grandchildren, Melanie,
Jared, Brandy and
Steffan; three
great-grandchildren,
Cheyenna, Jared Jr. and
Kaleb; and three
sisters, Bertha
Handeland of Pocatello,
Idaho, Dorothy Schneider
of Bottineau, ND,
and Marlene Armentrout
of Dunseith, ND.
Lester was preceded
in death by his parents
and one sister.
Memorials may be
made through the funeral
home to First United
Methodist Church.
