Lloyd was born May 27,
1934, the third son of
Ell and Katie Frazier
Counce, in Enid,
Oklahoma, and went to
meet his Lord July 7,
2007. He lived in
Enid most of his life,
the two exceptions being
while in the United
States Army, stationed
at Fort Bliss in El
Paso, TX, and living in
Moore, OK from December,
1976 to July, 1980. He
rode a “mean bicycle” as
a boy and loved his dog
Rex. On July 1, 1955, he
married Martha Ann Unruh
in Enid, and they became
the proud parents of
four children, Larry
Gregg Counce, Geneva Lyn
(Counce) Andrews,
Bradley Wayne Counce and
Floyd Gene Counce.
Lloyd spent most of his
adult years in route
sales work, notably
working for over
thirteen years for
Frito-Lay and fourteen
years for Little Debbie
Snack Cakes. He traveled
most of Northwest
Oklahoma on these routes
and had friends all over
the territory.
Lloyd was always active
in church work wherever
he lived. He grew
up attending the
Pentecostal Holiness
Church, where Oral
Roberts was pastor when
the Lord called him into
the healing ministry.
Most recently Lloyd and
Martha have become
members of World Harvest
Church.
For approximately four
years, Lloyd was
president of the Enid
Chapter of Full Gospel
Businessmen’s Fellowship
International. The
Chapter enjoyed a period
of growth under his
leadership.
Lloyd was preceded in
death by his parents and
brother, Melvin Counce
of Orange, CA.
He is survived by his
wife Martha, of the
home; four children,
Gregg Counce and wife
Robin of Albuquerque,
NM, Geneva Andrews and
husband Colin of Enid,
Brad Counce and wife
Chrissie of Enid, and
Floyd Counce and wife
Ashley of Bedford, TX;
five grandchildren,
three
step-grandchildren; one
grandchild on the way;
and one brother Herschel
Counce, of Coos Bay, OR.
Memorials may be made
through the funeral home
to World Harvest Church
Building Fund.
