The funeral for Esther
Marie Charlotte (Nobis)
Loesch, age 91, of
Fairmont, will be at
11:00 A.M. Tuesday,
December 29, 2009, at
Zion Lutheran Church in
Fairmont, with Rev.
Timothy Dorsch
officiating. Burial
will be in the Zion
Lutheran Cemetery in
Fairmont with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
She was born to
Henry John and Carolena
Marie (Wyssmann) Nobis
on February 19, 1918, in
Fairmont, and died
Thursday, December 24,
2009, at her home in
Fairmont.
Esther grew up in
Fairmont and attended
Zion Lutheran School.
On November 23, 1941,
she married Glenn Robert
Loesch and they made
their home near
Fairmont. She was a
homemaker and farmer’s
wife. Esther was a
lifelong member of Zion
Lutheran Church in
Fairmont, where she was
in the choir, Ladies
Aid, and Ladies Aid
Quilters.
She is survived by
two sons, Ted Loesch and
wife Virginia of
Fairmont; David Loesch
and wife Risa of
Fairmont; four
daughters, Marilyn
Thielke and husband Mel
of Enid, Margie
Huntington and husband
Dean of Edmond, Sandra
Loesch of Fairmont, and
Glenda Tobiason and
husband Darrell of Enid;
fifteen grandchildren;
thirteen
great-grandchildren; two
brothers, Raymond Nobis
of Waukomis, and Donald
Nobis of Enid; and one
sister Arlene ZumMallen
of Okarche.
Esther was preceded
in death by her husband
Glenn; five brothers,
Elmer, Marvin, Harold,
Roland and Leonard Nobis;
one sister Berniece
Fischaber; and two
grandchildren.
Memorials may be made
through the funeral home
to Fairmont Zion
Pre-school.
