, Wednesday, August 15,
2007, at the
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
She was born to
Charlie Leslie and
Bertha Olive (Brewer)
Rhoades on February 26,
1941, in Alva, and died
Monday, August 13, 2007,
at her home in Enid.
Lucy graduated from
High School in Hartner,
Kansas. She moved
to Enid in 1997, and
worked as a nurse’s aide
at Sunnyside Home.
She is survived by
three daughters, Lucy
Brewer of Enid, Ruby
Klick of Enid, and
Bertha White of
Wellington, KS; two
sons, Lester Achemire
and Charles Achemire,
both of Enid; eleven
grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; two
brothers, George Rhoades
of Kinsley, KS, and
Floyd Wing of Emporia,
KS; three sisters, Lalie
Knox and JoAnn Curry,
both of Enid, and Wilda
Springer of Aline.
She was preceded in
death by her parents,
stepfather, five
sisters, five brothers,
and one grandson.
