The funeral for Lyle
Dean Murray, age 54,
will be at 10:00 A.M.
Friday, September 5,
2008, at the First
Assembly of God Church,
with Rev. Dan Barrick
officiating. Burial
will be in the Memorial
Park Cemetery, with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
Lyle was born to Bernard
and Thelma (Brandon)
Murray on December 12,
1953, in Enid, and died
Tuesday, September 2,
2008, in Enid.
He grew up in Enid and
graduated from Enid High
School in 1972. On May
3, 1974, Lyle married
Marilyn Glaze in Enid,
where they made their
home. He worked for
Kirkpatrick Oil Company
as a pumper. Lyle was a
member of First Assembly
of God Church, where he
was a deacon, sound
technician and active in
the music and drama
ministry. Lyle loved
music and played the
bass, guitar, and
saxophone. He loved to
build anything that the
church needed built.
Lyle is survived by his
wife Rev. Marilyn Murray
of the home; one son,
Brandon Murray of
Phoenix, Arizona; his
father Bernard Murray
and wife Sammie of Enid;
his mother-in-law Mary
Glaze of Payson,
Arizona; and his
father-in-law Rev.
Clarence Glaze and wife
Jeanne of Enid;
step-brother Marty
Barnes and wife Becky of
Enid; and step-sister
Joni Johnson and husband
Del of Owasso.
He was preceded in death
by his mother Thelma and
brother Sheldon.

Research Foundation –
Heart Division.
