Maddox, age 60, of Enid,
will be at 2:00 P.M.
Monday, March 30, 2009,
at Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home Chapel.
Cremation arrangements
are by Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home and
Crematory.
She was born to
Corwin Eugene and
Isabelle Edna (Cook)
Mendenhall on August 5,
1948, in Lansing,
Michigan, and died
Sunday, March 22, 2009,
at St. Mary’s Regional
Hospital in Enid.
Barbara
graduated from Enid High
School. She worked as a
beautician for over
sixteen years at various
salons in Enid.
Recently she worked at
Advance Foods as a meat
packer. She enjoyed
reading, lounging in her
nightie, playing Skipbo,
and being with her
children and
grandchildren. She
never met a stranger at
her work at Advance
Foods or waling around
Walmart. She enjoyed
bowling and was the
ever-supportive sports
mom, yelling from the
stands words of
encouragement to all.
Barbara was always
willing to give advice,
whether asked for or
not.
She is survived
by one son, Kenneth
Maddox and wife Brandi
of Blackwell; two
daughters, Regina
Terrell and husband Lee
of Ponca City, and
Chellie Martin and
husband Brian of
Ashland, Virginia;
twelve grandchildren,
Kodi, Duston, Zackary,
Ashton, Chase, Lupita,
Madison, Lydia, Savanna,
Kelsey, Dylan and
Austin.
She was
preceded in death by her
parents, Corwin and
Isabelle Mendenhall.
Memorials may be made
through the funeral home
to Oklahoma Medical
Research Foundation –
Stroke Division.
