A funeral service for Marceille Greer, age 88, will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Willow View United Methodist Church, with Chaplain Shorty Unruh officiating.  Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. in Highland Cemetery, Lawton, with Rev. Phil Jones officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, Enid.

            She was born to C.L. and Mildred (Beck) Adams on December 13, 1919, in Tipton, Oklahoma, and died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

            Marceille grew up in Tipton and graduated from No. One High School.  On February 21, 1942, she married Wesley Greer in Frederick, where they made their home.  They later moved to Watonga, and she worked at Blaine County Extension Office for eight years.  They moved to Enid in 1989.  Marceille was member of Willow View United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed fishing at Branson.

            She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Deines and husband Larry of Wichita, KS, and Lynda Bentley and husband Don of Lawton; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister Zelda Parks of Edmond.

            Marceille was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wesley, and one sister.
