A memorial service for Marcella J. Stubbs, age 46, of Enid, will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 18, 2007, at Waukomis Baptist Church, with Pastor Danny Marney officiating.   Cremation arrangements were by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

            She was born on April 5, 1961, in Drummond, and passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid.

            Marcella grew up in Drummond and attended school there.  In June 1992, she married Harold Nichols, and they made their home in Enid.  She worked in area restaurants as a chef.  She enjoyed painting, gardening and crocheting.

            She is survived by her husband, Harold Nichols; one son, Jonathon Stubbs of Weatherford, and one daughter, Chloe Stubbs of Burns Flat; three grandchildren, Breanna Stubbs, Emmett Dalton, and Michael Stubbs; four step children, Gerald Nichols, Gary Nichols and Travis Nichols, all of Bartlesville, and Jason Nichols of El Reno; fourteen step grandchildren; four brothers, Micah Stubbs,Van Stubbs, Roy Thebarge, and Ronnie Thebarge; and one sister, Rheta of Texas.

            She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Thebarge, and two brothers.
