Funeral services for Marie Kate Robinson Cole age 83 of Enid, formerly of Memphis, Tenn. will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel in Memphis, Tenn.  The Rev. Grady Camp will officiate.  Burial will be in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. 

            Marie was born to Wilburn Pickett and Gertye Mae (Presslar) Robinson on November 30, 1924, in Dyer, Tennessee and died on December 23, 2007 in Enid, Oklahoma.

            She married Ernie Eugene Cole on June 13, 1944, in Riverside California.  They made their home in Memphis, Tenn.  They moved to Enid in 2005, to be near their son.  Marie loved flowers and gardening.  She has crocheted several lovely afghans, angels and snowflakes. 

            Marie is survived by one son Lt. Col. John Russell Cole USAF (retired) and wife Patricia Ann (Craig) Cole of Enid, formerly of Memphis; and two grandchildren David Russell Cole and Sarah Ann (Cole) Slaninka; one sister Joann (Robinson) Bernardini.

            She was preceded in death by husband, one brother, and her parents.
