Mary McCreary of Ringwood, OK, went home to be with the Lord Oct. 16, 2007.  Mary was born July 2, 1937, in Mound Ridge, KS to Pete C. and Elma (Stucky) Schroeder.  Mary graduated from Walton High School in 1956.  She married Harry Willis McCreary Jan. 14, 1956 at the Walton Mennonite Church.  They later moved to Enid in 1959, where she was employed by Sears & Roebuck, and later Anthony’s.

Mary was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She loved her family unconditionally and was a great joy to be around.  Words cannot describe the loving wife, mother, grandmother and best friend that she was to her family.  We will miss her greatly.

McCreary of Ringwood; children, Vonna and Gary Fisher of Phoenix, AZ, Sandra and Ron Keivitt of Enid, Doug and Debbie McCreary of Yukon, Morla York, Stormy and Kevin Catlett of Hennessey; her brothers, Jerry Schroeder and Vern Schroeder, both of Newton, KS, and Everett Schroeder of Walton, KS; her sisters, Wilma Siebuhr of Newton, KS and Fern Nelms of Heston, KS; her grandchildren, Vanessa O’Brien, Nicholas Morris, Courtney, Zack, Brandi and Clancy York, Garrett Fisher, Bricelyn and Brylee Catlett, Jacquee and Sam McCreary; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at Faith Center in Meno.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Elma Schroeder, and three brothers, Gene, Myron and Ellis “Bud” Schroeder.
