Sandy & I spent
over a year together in DaNang, Vietnam.
He was a great guy to be around.
We were able to get together with a few
of our fellow Vets of Danang and their
families in southern California a few
years back. he will not be
forgotten in our hearts. He lives
in all of us. We were blessed to
know him. Russ Clark |

Dear Patti and
Will, Please know that you have been in
our thoughts the past few days and will
continue to be in our prayers in the
days to come. We will always remember
Sandy as being the "glue" that held
things together when things started to
get a little crazy, and that he
possessed a great camaraderie with every
member of Troop Twenty Seven. Matt spoke
of "Mr. Matthews" after he first visited
the troop as a new Scout, and felt that
he took a real interest in every new
Scout. It did not hurt that Sandy had a
great sense of humor too! We will miss
him, and please know that he will always
remain in our fondest memories of Enid. |

Into
everyone's life, a Sandy Matthews should
pass. I had the true pleasure of
having this one in mine. Sandy
truly helped me make it through a
difficult time in my life. He had
a real grounding in faith, and matched
it with a keen sense of humor.
Heaven is a little brighter and earth is
a little dimmer now. Our prayers
are with Patti and her family. |

I went to Classen
with Sandy, and Michael and I enjoyed
visiting with him and Patti at our class
reunions. We also had the
pleasure of seeing him when he brought
his youth group to our Temple to teach
them about different religions. We
will miss his friendly face. Our
condolences to the family.

We were so sorry to
hear of Sandy's passing. We have
such great memories of Enid State
School, Fish and Whiskey, Sandy pulling
Will down the street in the little red
wagon, too many to list here.
Sandy was a great man and a great
friend, and he will be sorely missed by
all who knew him. Our condolences
to Patti and his family, and we will
miss him.

Patti, I sincerely
regret the passing of Sandy. I
will always remember joking around with
him, and he gave me all the info I
needed to visit Williamsburg. Of
course, you helped me in that area, too.
You were both friendly to me, and I
enjoyed the Christian relationship.
Love though Christ, Marilyn Knaak |
