The graveside service for John Mullins, 86, will be at  10:00 AM Thursday, July 22, 2010, at the Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, with Rev. Dan Barrick officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

    He was born to Benjamin F. and Lovdie (Lyles) Mullins on November 21, 1923 in Mooreville, Mississippi, and died Sunday, July 18, 2010 in Enid.

     John served in the US Air Force, until retiring in 1975.  On August 13, 1983, he married Dorris Griffith in Enid.  He was a member of DAV and First Assembly of God Church.  John enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, playing guitar and singing. 

    He is survived by his wife Dorris; son Keith Skeen of Wisconsin; grandson Kenneth Lazenby of McAlester; two great granddaughters; sister Virginia Whiteside of Bentonville, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. 

    John was preceded in death by daughter Shirley Lazenby and brother Charles Mullins.
