The graveside service for Peggy “Darlene” Niles, age 68, of Enid, will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Enid Cemetery, with Rev. David Yarbrough officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

      She was born to W.P. and Grace (Alexander) Perkins on April 5, 1941, in Turkey, TX, and died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at her home in Enid.

     Darlene grew up in Turkey, TX, and attended schools there.  On December 6, 1963, she married Cliff C. Niles, Jr. in Floydada, TX, where they made their home.  They moved to Enid in 2005.   She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Baptist Church.

     She is survived by her husband Cliff of the home; three daughters, Peggy Baum of Fairview, Brenda Reese and Jamie Christensen, both of Enid; one son Cliff Niles III of Midwest City; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister Pam DeSatutell of Albuquerque, NM; and three brothers, Bobby Perkins of Clovis, NM, Fred Perkins of Lubbock, TX, and Butch Perkins of Brady, TX.

     Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.

     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
