The funeral service for Marie A. O’Neal, age 73, of Enid, will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2009, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kevin Ratterman officiating.  Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home

    She was born to Tony and Ines (Andrewcetti) Moro on March 20, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa, and died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

    Marie grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Dowling High School.  On February 25, 1955, she married Kenneth L. O’Neal in Des Moines, where they made their home.  In 1986, they moved to Enid.  She cleaned homes and helped the elderly people in their homes.  She enjoyed gardening and cooking.  She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

    She is survived by her husband Kenneth of the home; four children, Tony M. O’Neal and Lisa M. O’Neal, both of Enid, and Ronald L. O’Neal and George F. O’Neal, both of Des Moines, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister Corinne A. Kroll of Des Moines, Iowa.

    Marie was preceded in death by daughter Linda M. O’Neal, son Kenneth L. O’Neal, Jr, and brother Matthew Moro.
