The funeral
service for Ola Mae
Hall, age 84, will be at
2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March
4, 2008, at Garber First
Baptist Church, with
Rev. Tom LeGrand and
Rev. Glenn Peck
officiating. Burial
will be in Paradise
Cemetery in
Breckenridge, with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
She was born
to Jake and Maude (Lee)
Roof on January 13, 1924
in Hulen, Oklahoma, and
died Saturday, March 1,
2008, at St. Mary’s
Regional Medical Center
in Enid.
Tommie
graduated from Empire
High School in 1941. On
January 31, 1947, she
married John E. Hall in
Lawton. She was a
military wife and
homemaker. After moving
to Garber, she was the
head cook for the
Country Kitchen for
thirteen years. Tommie
was a member of First
Baptist Church of
Garber. Taking care of
her grandchildren was
the love of her life.
She is
survived by her
children; Quanah Hall,
John and Ann Hall,
Cheryn and Rick Birkle,
Jacob and Rose Hall,
Audrey and Mark Martens,
Eddie Hall, all of Enid;
Marion and Kathy Hall of
Irving, TX, and Maudie
and Cecil Chartier of
Garber; thirty-four
grandchildren; fifty-one
great- grandchildren;
and four great, great
grandchildren.
Tommie was
preceded in death by her
parents, husband, two
sons, one daughter, one
grandson, one great
granddaughter, and two
brothers.
