A Memorial Service for Vickie LaVonne Otwell, age 54, of Fairview, will be held at a later date at the Church of the Nazarene in Fairview.  Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. 

     She was born to Waldo Fredrick and Gracie (Manes) McDowell on November 2, 1954, in Ft. Worth, Texas, and died Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

     Vickie grew up in Enid.  On July 31, 1985, she married Terry Otwell in Fairview, where they made their home.  She was an executive assistant at the family owned business, TKO construction.  She also was a licensed C.N.A. and C.M.A.  Vickie was a member of Fairview Church of the Nazarene.  She enjoyed gardening and bring joy to the lives of others.

     She is survived by her husband Terry of the home; her mother Gracie Harkrader of Dufur, OR; four daughters, Carlena and husband Larry of Enid, Teagan and husband Chris of Fairview, Brandy and husband Blaine of Enid, and Kyndra Heath of Fairview; two sons, James and wife Jamie of Enid, and Christopher and wife Ashley of Fairview; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara of The Dalles, OR, and Hallie of Woodland, WA; and one brother Terry of The Dalles, OR.

     Vickie was preceded in death by a brother Rick Manes, father Waldo “Mac” McDowell; two grandsons,  Jayse Freelove and Jadrien Cox.
