The funeral service for Donna Faye Penner, age 72, of Lahoma, will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday February 3, 2010 in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  The visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home.

            She was born to Sands and Eva (Nelson) Culver on January 24, 1938 in Cimarron, Kansas, and died on January 29, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Ok.

             Donna grew up in Cimarron and graduated from Cimarron High School.  After her parents died she was raised by Eldon and Wanda Culver, her brother and sister-in-law.  On November 1, 1959 she married Ernest Penner in Cimarron, and they made their home in Enid.  They moved to Lahoma in 1961 and she was a wife and homemaker.  She later worked at Sears where she was the Service Department Manager until she retired.  

             She is survived by her husband Ernest; two children, Jamie Powell and her husband Patrick of Pell City, Alabama, and Shannon Penner of Enid; one sister in law Wanda Culver of Dodge City, KS.

             Donna was preceded in death by her daughter Tracy Penner, her parents, one brother Eldon Culver, and two sisters Betty Buckley and Ione Black.

             Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation-Diabetes Division.
