The funeral service for Marie B. Pollock, age 94, will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating.  Viewing will begin at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home of Enid.

        Marie was born to Carl W. and Minnie (Denning) McSpadden on July 29, 1915, in Loco, OK, and passed away Monday, March 1, 2010, in Enid.

        She grew up in Loco and graduated from high school there.  On June 11, 1938, she married Grady Pollock in Chickasha, and they made their home in Duncan.  She was a homemaker and an excellent seamstress.  Marie enjoyed traveling and oil painting.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church West.

       She is survived by three grandchildren, Kathy Russell of Wichita Falls, TX, Arlene LaQuey of Wichita, KS, and Penny Jones of Lakewood, CO; eight great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; brother Raymond McSpadden and wife Barbara of Enid; nieces and nephews.

      Marie was preceded in death by one sister Beatrice Mae McSpadden, one brother Herman W. McSpadden, husband Grady in 1974, and son Arno Kent Pollock on May 3, 1984,
