A funeral service for
Florene H. Heim Wyssmann
Pralle, age 88, of Enid
will be at 2:00 P.M. on
Saturday, April 18,
2009, at the Zion
Lutheran Church,
Fairmont, with Rev.
Timothy Dorsch
officiating. Burial
will follow in the Zion
Lutheran Cemetery,
Fairmont with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
Florene was born to Eldo
D. and Amanda (Schweer)
Heim on May 5, 1920, in
Covington, and died on
Wednesday April 15,
2009, in Enid.
Florene was baptized on
June 6, 1920, and
confirmed her faith on
May 13, 1934, at St.
John’s Lutheran Church
in Covington. She
graduated from Covington
High School in 1938. On
May 21, 1939 she married
Paul G. Wyssmann at Zion
Lutheran Church in
Fairmont, where they
made their home.
He preceded her in death
on August 28, 1965.
On November 30, 1985 she
married Fred R. Pralle
in Enid, where they made
their home. She
was a long time member
of Zion Lutheran Church,
where she was active
in LWML. She was also
very active in the
Friendship Circle Club,
a member of Desk and
Derrick, and Project
Phillip. Florene worked
at J. C. Penney,
Champlin Oil Company in
the office for 21 years,
and the Garfield County
Assessor’s Office.
She is survived by her
husband Fred of Enid;
two daughters Patricia
Lemke and husband Walter
of Enid, and Carol
Breitenkamp and husband
Harlo of Fairmont; five
grandchildren Steven and
Tamara Lemke of Norman,
Robert and Heidi Lemke
of Haslet, TX, Elizabeth
and Timothy Smith of
Winfield, KS, Catherine
and Mark Espinoza of
Round Rock, TX, and
Cheryl and Kevin Metcalf
of Enid; ten great
grandchildren; three
step-children Darrell Pralle and wife Suzanne
of Enid, Richard Pralle
and wife Delores of Las
Vegas, NV, and Nelda
Dickman and husband Ted
of Pampa, TX; nine
step-grandchildren;
thirteen
step great
grandchildren; two
sisters, Marguerite
Carlson of Rockford, IL,
and Opal Gragert of
Enid.
Florene was preceded in
death by her first
husband, Paul G.
Wyssmann, and one
brother Lavern Heim.

Memorial Fund.
