    The funeral service for Henry Martin Rahm, age 86, will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating.  Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

     He was born to Jacob C. and Hazel Blanche (Robinson) Rahm on September 10, 1923, in Enid, and died Saturday, October 24, 2009, in Enid.

     Henry grew up in Kremlin and graduated from Enid High School.  On November 11, 1951, he married Lela Larkey at Bethany Chapel in Enid, and they made their home in Kremlin.  He was a member of Kremlin United Methodist Church and Kremlin Lions Club.  While President of Kremlin Lions, he was involved with many civic functions, including the formation of the Kremlin-Hillsdale Rural Water District.  He was a past District Governor of District 3A Lions International.  Henry was a lifetime member of Pond Creek Masonic Lodge, where he was a 32 degree Mason, and member of Ruth Chapter of Eastern Star and Scottish Rite.  He was a Vo-Tech Board Member when O.T. Autry Vocational School became an area school.  Henry was a farmer most of his life, moving to Enid in 1983.  Henry served as President of the Enid Cemetery Board of Directors for twelve years.  Henry knew no strangers and enjoyed visiting people and sharing stories. 

     He is survived by his wife Lela of the home, one daughter Nancy Rahm of Enid, five nieces, and other relatives. 

     Henry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Enid Cemetery or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation – Cancer Division.
