A Mass of Christian Burial for Maria L. Ramirez, age 70, of Enid, will be at 5:00 P.M. Monday January 11, 2010, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Rev. Kevin Ratterman officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

     Maria was born to Jesus and Carmen Pereyra Flores on June 15, 1939 in Durango, Durango, Mexico, and died on January 09, 2010, in Enid.

     She grew up in Mexico, and on October 20, 1954 she married Eduardo Ramirez in Durango, Mexico.  They made there home in Mexico until 1992 when they moved to California.  In 1997 they moved to Enid where she worked at Advance Foods.  Maria was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.  Maria’s greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many people.

     Maria is survived by her husband Eduardo of the home; seven children R. Eduardo Ramirez Flores of Juarez, Chihuhua, Mexico, Martha B. Ramirez Flores, Maria Mayela Ramirez Flores, Jose Fabian Ramirez Flores, Ernesto Ramirez Flores, all of Enid, Maria Carmen Ramirez Flores of Juarez, Chihuhua, Mexico, and Luz Maria Ramirez Flores of Enid; 21 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother Jose P. Flores of Mexico; two sisters Soledad Burciaga and Mercedes Burciaga both of Mexico.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant sons, and two infant daughters.
