A memorial service for Roy Lee Reed, age 65, will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church, with Rev. Ron Olson officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

     He was born to Helen Brezina and Doc Moats on February 12, 1944 in Waurika, and passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009, at his home in Enid.

     Roy was adopted by Charles and Stiffie Brezina Reed. He grew up and attended schools in Fox, OK.    Roy served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany for 13 months.  On March 27, 1964, he married Jo Etta McCallie in Countyline, OK.  They moved to Enid in 1966.    He worked as a truck driver for many years.  Roy worked for the City of Enid for 15 years, retiring in February 2009.  He attended Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church. 

     Roy will truly be missed by his family and friends, but he is with his Lord.

     He is survived by his wife Jo Etta of the home, two sons, Charles Reed and wife Amy, and Troy Reed and wife Michele, all of Enid; four grandchildren, Turner, Charlsea, Joseph, and Corbin; and step brother Kenneth Turner and wife Audrey of Sanderson, TX.        

    Roy was preceded in death by his father, mother, step-father Bill Turner, and brother Sancho.
