            A funeral service for Robert O. “Bob” Little, 83, will be Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dean Randolph and Reverend Clarence Glaze officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ames Cemetery, Ames, Oklahoma under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

            Bob was born on September 2, 1923 on a farm south of Ames, Oklahoma to A.E. and Mabel (Turner) Little,  and died on November 29, 2006 in Enid. 

            Bob attended Lacy School his first eight years, completing high school in Ames, graduating with the Class of 1942.  Bob was the president of his senior class, and outstanding basketball and football player.  He joined the Navy and served on the USS Reno, which was attacked in the Pacific.  Upon his return after the war he farmed, did carpenter work, and sold fertilizer for a time. 

            Bob is survived by his wife of the home Billie Little; children, Jenny Cook and Bill of Ft. Collins, Colorado, David Little, of Enid, Cindy Tidwell and Mark of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Robin Grady and Jeff of Arlington, Texas, Lisa Morgan and Mark of Enid, and Amy Greenhaw and Jon of Tulsa; thirteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

            Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ivan, Chet and Bud Little; sisters Ethel Dilldine, and Edna Randolph.

            The family requests no flowers please; memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation-Alzheimer’s Division, The Salvation Army, or Hospice Circle of Love.
