A graveside service for
Robert Wayne Bushey, age
68, will be at 2:00 P.M.
Thursday, April 26,
2007, at the New Home
Cemetery in Nash.
Arrangements are by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
He was born to Frederick
William and Ardel R.
(Young) Bushey on August
4, 1938, in St. Albans,
Vermont, and died
Monday, April 23, 2007,
at his home in Enid.
He grew up in St. Albans
and attended schools
there. He then served in
the United States Air
Force, stationed at
Vance Air Force Base in
1958. On October 23,
1958, he married Nora
Lee Black in Enid, where
they made their home. He
was employed at Goldspot
Dairy, until they moved
to Massachusetts in
1960. He worked as a
foreman in the textile
industry in Holyoke, MA.
He later moved back to
St. Albans, VA, before
moving to Enid in 2000.
Robert is survived by
three sons, Dennis
Bushey of Enid, Roland
William Bushey of
Galveston, Texas, and
Larry Allen Bushey of
Yukon; two daughters,
Eileen Diane Brakhage of
Enid, and Brenda Lee
Harris of Enid; ten
grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; two
brothers, Leo Bushey of
Tampa, Florida and Roger
Bushey of St. Albans,
VT; and three sisters,
Irene Blevins of St.
Albans, VT, Teresa
Arsenault of Tupperlake,
NY, and Arthella Working
of Indiana.
He is preceded in death
by his parents and
twelve brothers and
sisters.
