age 63, will be at 10:00
A.M. Saturday, August
18, 2007, at the
Boundless Love Church,
1310 S. Monroe, with
Rev. Shirley Collin
officiating.
Cremation arrangements
are by Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home and
Crematory. There
will be no viewing or
visitation at the
funeral home.
He was born to Joe
M. and Lucille (Parker)
Hayes on October 22,
1943, in Independence,
Missouri, and died
Monday, August 13, 2007,
at Highland Park Nursing
Home in Enid.
Joe graduated from
Oak Grove High School in
1962. He then
served in the United
States Army from 1963 to
1966 in Europe. He
worked for General
Motors, Alais Chalmers,
KC Center and Wackenhut
Security Company.
In 2000, he moved to
Enid to be near his son.
On November 26, 2001, he
married Margaret McLean,
and they made their home
in Enid. He
recently worked as a
custodian at the Enid
Y.W.C.A. He was
also a Mason.
He is survived by
his wife, Margaret of
the home; two sons,
Jason Wayne Hayes and
wife Tanya, and their
children Patrick James
and Samantha Portell, of
Warrenton, MO, and
Donald Riedel and
daughter Reese of San
Diego, CA; two
daughters, Diane Forbes
of Coinjock, NC, and
Emily Johnson and son
Aiden of Enid; and one
brother Tony Hayes of
Oak Grove, MO.
He was preceded in
death by his parents. |
