A memorial service for Ronald Laverne Powers, age 44, of Lahoma, will be held at a later date at The Farm in Goltry.  Cremation arrangements were by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.  There will be no visitation or viewing at the funeral home.

            He was born to Daniel Scott and Sandra Ann (Florentine) Powers on December 7, 1962, in Bradford, Pennsylvania, and died Saturday April 28, 2007 in a vehicle accident near Goltry.

            Ronald grew up in Pennsylvania and attended schools at Duke Center.  He worked for Punch Witikers in North Carolina for several years.  He moved to the Enid area about ten years ago and he was a Jack Man for the # 46 Craftsman Truck for the Morgan Dollar Racing Team.  Ronald worked at The Farm in Goltry, where he was a promoter.  He also helped friends on their farms.

            He is survived by his son Cale C. Powers of Belton, Missouri; one grandson, Cale C. Powers, Jr. of Belton, MO; his father, Daniel Powers of Rixford, PA; one brother; and two sisters, Lonnie Ensanian and Sarah Ray.

            Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Florentine and grandmother, Thelma Florentine.
