            A funeral service for Roy Dean Lowe, age 72, of Enid will be on Tuesday February 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Roggow officiating.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The casket will be open all day Monday and until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

            Roy was born on April 2, 1935 in Enid to Charlie and Glenda Marie (Smith) Lowe and died on February 17, 2008 at St Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

            Roy grew up in the Garber and Breckenridge area and graduated from Garber High School.  On May 24, 1958 he married Pauline Mariner at the United Methodist Church in Garber.  They made their home and farmed in the Breckenridge and Garber areas until 1989 when they moved to Enid.  Roy was a member of the Garber United Methodist Church, and served with the HQ & HQ BTRY 45th DIV ARTY for 9 years.  Roy’s hobbies included restoring antique tractors and small diesel engines.

            Roy is survived by his wife Pauline of the home; a son Larry and Debbie of Breckenridge; and a granddaughter Jinna; brother-in-law, Joe Mariner and wife Waunita; niece, Melinda and husband Steve Casteel; nephew, Mike Mariner; two great-nephews, Jacob and Zac Casteel.

            He was preceded in death by his parents.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Heart Division or St. Mary’s Hospital Volunteers.
