A graveside memorial service for Thoydis June Shellito, 71, will be held in Aldrich Cemetery, Garland County, AR.  She was born to Ira Edward and Hazel Doris (Parker) Mann on February 7, 1939 in Garland County, and died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, in Enid, Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

            June graduated from Lake Hamilton High School in Arkansas.  On April 26, 1960, she married John Joseph Shellito.  She was a homemaker and military wife, and ran a large farm in Flagg, Arkansas.  During the oil boom of the 1980’s, they moved to Enid.  They later moved back to Ft. Smith, Arkansas where she attended college studying Computer Communication.  In 1987 they moved to New Mexico, where she taught English to immigrants until her health declined.  She moved back to Enid in 2009.  June was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and loved her family.

             She is survived by four sons, Michael Shellito and Stacey of Enid, Mark Shellito and Amanda, of Branson, MO, Melvin Hudson and Yvonne of Ft. Smith, AR, and Russell Woolf and Melissa of Albuquerque, NM; one daughter Christy “Sam” Thompson and James, of Enid; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother Raymond Thomason of Arrey, NM.

             June was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe, sisters Sherry Tankersley, Carol Sue Mann and Doris Ann Mann, and one brother.
