      The funeral service for Anna Lee Spratt, age 74, of Enid, will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 6, 2009, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Carl Roberts officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the funeral home.

     She was born to Lee Calvin and Rose Catherine (Pelzl) Smith on June 29, 1935, in Cunningham, Kansas, and died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

     Anna Lee grew up in Cunningham, graduating and marrying there.  On December 27, 1954, she married Paul Spratt, and they made their home in Enid in 1963.    She was a mother and homemaker and also worked the night shift at St. Mary’s Hospital for many years.

     She is survived by her husband, Paul, of the home; four daughters:  Paula Redding and husband Wes of Enid, Lin Honigsberg of Harbor, Oregon, Tami Curtis and husband John of Tulsa, and Lisa Merritt and husband Ben of Enid; five grandchildren: Scarlet, Kelly, Dustin, Brianna, Lillian; and five great-grandchildren: Willow, London, River, Violet, and Logan.  She has one sister, Mary Oller of Cunningham, Kansas.

     Anna Lee was preceded in death by her parents and son David.

     Anna Lee was active and joyous, celebrating life with her family and friends, through all the things she loved:  flowers, holidays, adventures, fairies, seasons, decorating, nature, music, travel and all of life.  Everyone felt welcome in her home.

     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Friends of Government Springs Park.
