Mass of Christian Burial
for Stanley Main
Donnelley, 80, of Enid,
will be Friday, Sept.
19, 2008 at 1:00 PM at
St. Gregory the Great
Catholic Church. Rev.
Larry Kolawski will be
the Celebrant. Burial
will follow in Calvary
Cemetery, Enid, with
military honors.
Arrangements are by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
Stanley was born on Oct.
18, 1927 in Stillwater,
OK to Herndon Ford and
Lois (Main) Donnelley
and died on Sept. 16,
2008 in Enid, OK. He
grew up in Enid and
graduated from Enid High
School in 1945. Stan
enlisted in the U.S.
Navy during World War II
on Nov. 1, 1945 and
discharged on Oct. 8,
1946. He was awarded
the Victory Medal.
Following his
discharge, he lived in
Indiana, where he had
his own business. He
enlisted in the U.S. Air
Force on Oct. 30, 1951
and served in the Korean
Conflict. Stanley was
discharged from the Air
Force on Jan. 22, 1962.
While in the U.S. Air
Force he received the
following medals,
National Defense, United
Nations Service, Good
Conduct, and Korean
Service. He met Nancy
Kaiser Estabrooks, and
they were married on
July 22, 1978 in Midwest
City, OK. Stan and
Nancy moved to Enid in
1983. Stan later
received his Bachelor of
Science degree from
Central State University
on July 30, 1985. He
taught for 12 years at
Northeast High School in
Okla. City. Following
his retirement from
teaching in 1990, he
worked at O’Reilly Auto
Parts Store. He was a
member of St. Gregory
the Great Catholic
Church.
Stan
was preceded in death by
his daughter, June
Estabrooks on Aug. 26,
2005 and one brother,
Herndon F. Donnelley,
Jr.
He
is survived by his wife,
Nancy of the home; seven
children, Major R. Della
Denison of Blanchard,
OK, John and wife,
Jackie Estabrooks of
Bell City, LA, George
and wife, Susan
Estabrooks of Midwest
City, OK, Ann Val Bracht
of Houston, TX, Andrew
and wife, Chris
Estabrooks of Midwest
City, OK, Wesley and
wife, Mickala Estabrooks
of Ada, OK, and CSM
Harold P. and wife,
Shana Estabrooks of
Sharpsburg, GA; three
sisters, Ruth Silveus of
Arlington, WA, Lorine
Reed of Perkins, OK, and
LeaAnn Walker of San
Diego, CA; 20
grandchildren, 22 great
grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, and many
friends.
