The funeral for Shirley Ann Stoddard, age 86, will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Alvin Dalton officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. 

      Shirley was born to Edmond and Ettie (Hogue) Spangler on November 23, 1923, in Purcell, and died Saturday, December 12, 2009, in Enid.

      She grew up in Oklahoma City.  On September 7, 1951, she married Frank M. Stoddard in Casa Grande, Arizona.  They resided in Bradley, Lindsey, and Blair, before moving to Enid in December 1963.  She was a homemaker and member of House of Prayer.

      Shirley is survived by one son, Frank Stoddard, Jr. of Enid; four daughters, Barbara Lovely of Aline, Betty Winters of Skellytown, TX, Pat McDaniel of Edmond, and Ida Larson of Greenbay, Wisconsin; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and nineteen great, great grandchildren; three brothers, Edmond Spangler of Covington, Pat Spangler of Oklahoma City, and Joe Spangler of Miland, TX.

      She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, two sons, one daughter, and four brothers.
