A private family graveside service will be held for Thada Inez Knaggs, age 103, will be held at a later date at Enid Cemetery.  Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

     She was born to Dr. William A. and Hettie Mae (Means) Wilson on August 18, 1904 in Cornish, OK, and died Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at The Commons in Enid.

     She grew up and attended schools in Cornish, before moving to Enid.  Thada married Percy Knaggs on July 22, 1922.  They spent most of their lives in California and Colorado.  After her husband’s death she lived with her daughter and spent a lot of time with her grandchildren; Linda and Jim Postier of Covington, Terry and Cathy Telinde of Enid and Michael Telinde of Enid.  Thada will be missed by them all.  

     Thada and Percy had 3 children, and she is survived by one daughter, Anita Mae Telinde Shepherd of Enid; eight grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; fifty four great-great grandchildren; and four great, great, great-grandchilden.

      She was preceded in death by her husband Percy; two sons, Billy and Jerry Knaggs; two brothers, and six sisters.
