A funeral service for
Thelma Bernice LeGrand,
age 86, of Enid, will be
at 10:00 A.M. Monday,
May 14, 2007, at the
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home Chapel, with Rev.
Terry Chick officiating.
Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery,
with arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
She was born
to John and Zelda
(Hughes) Sears on July
18, 1920, in Hunter, and
died Friday, May 11,
2007, at Integris Bass
Baptist Hospital in
Enid.
Thelma grew
up in Hunter and
graduated from Hunter
High School. On
July 20, 1940, she
married George LeGrand
in Enid. They made
their home in Enid.
She was a homemaker and
mother. Thelma was
a member of Bible
Baptist Church.
She is
survived by one son,
Wayne LeGrand and wife
Alice of Enid, one
daughter Sharon Breed
and husband Farrell of
Enid; five
grandchildren; sixteen
great-grandchildren; and
four sisters, Genevieve
Johnson and Euna Mae
Sears, both of Enid,
Neva Easterly of Hunter,
and Veda Moore of El
Reno.
She was
preceded in death by her
husband George in 1984.
Memorials may
be made through the
funeral home to Oklahoma
Medical Research
Foundation – Heart
Division.
