memorial service for
Thomas Earl Rush, age
78, of Waynoka, will be
held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements
are by Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home and
Crematory.
He was born
to Clarence A. and
Louella (Cummins) Rush
on July 25, 1929, in
Alva, and died Friday,
December 21, 2007, in
Alva.
He grew up
in Alva and graduated
from Alva High School.
On May 20, 1950, he
married Margaret Staab
in Russell, Kansas. He
was the owner and
operator of Rush Glass
Company.
Thomas is
survived by two sons,
Allen Rush of Kinsley,
KS, and Chris Rush of
Sugarland, TX; four
daughters, Gloria Langer
of Great Bend, KS, Diana
Kay of Carrollton, GA,
Sharon Rush of Palm
Desert, CA, and Barbara
Vansteenburgh of
Ellinwood, KS; ten
grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; and
two brothers, Clarence
Rush, Jr. of Arlington,
TX and Art Rush of
Waynoka.
He was
preceded in death by his
wife, Margaret, one son
and one brother.
