I
lived two houses down from Mr.
Thornburgh. I did not know him
well, but everyday I would see him
outside. He was always so nice to
me and I will miss seeing him. My
prayers are with the family!

I will miss you, Grandpa. I regret
that we did not get to know one another
better. However, I thank God for
you and for giving us a chance to spend
time together before you went home to be
with Jesus and Grandma. I know you
are happy, healthy and strong again in
Jesus' arms. Rest well. You
ran a great race.

Vern was my Grandpa's cousin.
Grandpa, Eddie Ackley, used to go to the
farm and work with Vern. I met him
at Plants A'Plenty and we talked about
the farm in Jet and horses. I
asked him about the commercial we made
for the heart hospital. I will
always remember his kindness. He
gave me memories of Grandpa I will
cherish. My condolences to the
family. He will be missed.

Grandpa Thank you for
the memories. Letting me try to
drive your pickup down the drive to get
the mail. What a ride.
Wandering down the crick and not gettin
on to me for all the red clay I'd drag
back with me. Lettin me swim
in the water tank even though I knew it
would mean my sisters picken all the
sand burrs outa my feet afterwards.
Riden the horses and counten the cattle.
And don't forget about Lady, I named my
dog the same. Oh and thank you for
my mom She's great Grandpa.
May you find all the happiness and peace
that you deserve. Thank you for
the memories. Love Logan
