A memorial service for Charles William Titus, age 73, of Enid will be at 5:00 PM, June 8, 2009, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.  There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

             He was born to William Eugene and Elva Alice (McCollough) Titus on February 28, 1937 in New Wilmington, PA, and died Wednesday, June 3, 2009, in Enid.

             Charles grew up in Pennsylvania and attended schools there.  On August 1, 1954, he married Jeanette Mackey in Warren, Ohio.  He served in the United States Air Force.  They came to Enid in 1980, where he worked at Vance Air Force Base.  He attended New Hope Methodist Church, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

             He is survived by his wife Jeanette, of the home; three sons, Chuck Titus of Enid, John Titus and Kenneth Titus, both of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren; and one sister Margaret Jean Swartz of Enid.
