2009, at St. Gregory the
Great Catholic Church,
with Rev. Larry Kowalski
officiating. A
Recitation of the Rosary
will be at 7:00 P.M.
Tuesday at
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home. A graveside
service will be at 2:00
P.M. Thursday at Slate
Cemetery in Stockton,
Kansas.
She was born to
Joseph and Anna Elinor
(McNamara) Ricciardi on
April 15, 1939, in
Detroit, Michigan, and
died Sunday, March 15,
2009, at her home in
Enid.
Madeline grew up in
Logansport, Indiana,
where she graduated high
school. She earned a
B.S. Degree in Education
at Indiana State
University. On June 15,
1963, she married Lloyd
Nile Vose in
California. They made
their home in Stockton,
KS, where she was a
homemaker. Madeline
later worked as a school
librarian in Ashland and
Dodge City, KS. In 1995
she earned a Masters
Degree from Ft. Hays
State University. After
her retirement, she
moved to Enid in 2006.
Madeline raised papillon
dogs, and was a member
of Sooner State Kennel
Club and American Kennel
Club. She enjoyed
participating and
judging dog shows as an
Agility Judge. Madeline
was a member of St.
Gregory the Great
Catholic Church.
She is survived by
her mother Elinor
Ricciardi of Enid; three
daughters, Deanna Kay
Porter and husband Dan
of Canyon, TX, Ynette
Katrina Simon and
husband Kelly of St.
Louis, MO, and Larissa
Dianne Daily and husband
Jon of Bedford, TX; one
son, Nile Gregory Vose
and wife Melinda of
Phoenix, AZ; seven
grandchildren, Kelsea
and Kolton Porter, Adam
and Alicia Cole, Madison
Vose, Alexandria Simon
and Katelyn Daily; one
great grandchild Lorelei
Halencek; and one sister
Marilyn Dianne Grant of
Costa Mesa, CA.
Madeline was
preceded in death by her
husband Lloyd, and
father Joseph Ricciardi.
