Wanda
Barrick-Towell, age 71,
of Oklahoma City,
formerly of Duncan, went
to be with her Lord on
January 6, 2008, after a
long-time battle with
breast cancer. Wanda
was born to Lonnie and
Ozella Stevens March 13,
1936, in Countyline,
Oklahoma, and moved to
Duncan as a child.
A memorial
graveside service will
be at 1:00 P.M. Friday,
January 11, 2008, at the
Duncan Cemetery, with
Rev. Ron Meador
officiating.

Home of Enid.
She
was preceded in death by
her father Lonnie and
mother Ozella, both of
Duncan, her brother T.L.
“Steve” Stevens, sister
Loretta Mitchell of
Longview, TX, and an
infant daughter in
1968. Wanda buried
husbands Billy Joe
Barrick in 1985 and
Jimmy Lee Towell late in
2006. She leaves behind
two daughters, Pamela R.
Cochran of Yukon, and
Debbie Mitchell of
Duncan; two sons, Billy
Barrick of Oklahoma
City, and Rev. Dan
Barrick of Enid. Also
eight grandchildren,
Brandi McMillen, Dax
Ledet, Michael and Jason
Greenroyd, BJ, Kalyn and
Laura Barrick, and
Angela Mitchell; and
eight
great-grandchildren.
The family
will greatly miss her.
Wanda leaves many family
members and friends in
the Duncan area. She
was a true woman of
faith and a great
example to her family
and all who knew her.
Memorial
donations made to
Hospice of Oklahoma
County or American
Cancer Society would be
greatly appreciated by
all who count on their
services in times of
need.
