The funeral service for James Robert White, age 31, of Enid, will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 22, 2009, at Enid First Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Bruce Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in the Homestead Cemetery, Homestead, OK, near Okeene, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

    He was born to Dallas Wayne and Linda (Martin) White on January 16, 1978, in Fairview, and died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at his home in Enid.

    James grew up in Fairview and later moved to Pond Creek, where he graduated from high school.  He attended college at Kansas Wesleyan College in Salina, Kansas.  He was employed at OnviSource in Enid.  James enjoyed playing sports, coaching little league, hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, snow skiing, traveling, and spending time with his kids.  He was a member of Enid First Church of the Nazarene.

    He is survived by his mother, Linda White of Fairview; three children, Kobe, Kale and Kadyn White, all of Tonkawa; two brothers, Joe White and Josh White, both of Enid: and one sister Rhonda Koehn, of Enid.

    James was preceded in death by his father, Dallas White, and grandparents.

    Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the White Children’s Education Fund or Hospice Circle of Love.
