A private family memorial service for William O. “W.O.” Thompson, Jr., age 61, of Enid, will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

            He was born to William O. Sr. and Irene (Reynolds) Thompson on October 6, 1946, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and died Friday, May 16, 2008, at his home in Enid.

            W.O. grew up in Chickasha.  On August 18, 1967, he married Teresa “Terry” Fermyn in Independence, Missouri, and they made their home in Enid.  He was self-employed as a commercial artist.

            He is survived by his wife Terry of the home; two sons, William O. “Billy” Thompson III and Danny Thompson, both of Enid; six grandchildren; and one sister Laureta Foster of LaFeria, Texas.
