A memorial service for Wretha Jeanette Austbo Crowley, 72, of Jet, will be Monday, March 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Smith officiating.  Jeannette was cremated at her request.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Jeanette was born to Max Bradfield and Ona Irene (Talley) Austbo on Jan, 5, 1936 in Enid, and died on March 20, 2008 in Enid.

She was raised on the family farm south of Nash and graduated from Pond Creek High School.  On March 22, 1953, she married Jay Crowley at  Pond Creek Baptist Church.  They made their home in Nash.  Jeanette loved people.  She worked at Oakwood Bowl, Wagon Wheel, Anong’s Café and United America Advertising.  She also had her own donut making business and had a restaurant in Pond Creek.  Jeanette collected antiques, especially dolls.  She enjoyed trips to the casinos, playing piano, attending speech contests, and watching golf, especially Tiger Woods.  She was a member of Eastern Star Rainbows.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Lyle Merritt Crowley.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, Jay of the home; five children, Brad Crowley and wife Rita of Nash, Daphne Schweer of Enid, James Crowley of Medford, Alycia Harding and husband  Randy of Alva, Kypp Crowley and partner Terrell Knight of Nash; one brother, Larry Austbo of Enid; sister-in-law, Marilyn Austbo of Enid; nine grandchildren, Jayson Crowley and wife Shannon, Jeremy Schweer and wife Brittany, Kodie Shepard, Kelsey Crowley, Leslie Crowley, PJ Crowley, Aryka Harding and fiancé, Phil Knous, and Brandon Harding; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Make A Wish Foundation.
