Cemetery:

      A memorial service for Albert Luther Yeatman, age 82, will be at 1:30 PM Saturday, October 31, 2009, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Linda Louderback officiating.  Family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 PM.

     He was born to Luther and Stella (Coram) Yeatman on November 7, 1926, in Harmon, and died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in Enid.

     Luther attended school at Harmon and Fargo.  He served in the United States Navy.  On November 12, 1950, he married Lucile Frey, and they made their home in Enid.  Luther was a fireman for the Enid Fire Department for thirty years before his retirement.  He also worked as a carpenter.  Lucille passed away May 1, 1998.  He later married Lois Cordes, and she passed away February 2004.  On October, 27, 2007, he married Martha Hladik at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Enid.  He was a member of the Retired Firefighters Association and Amvets.

     He is survived by his wife Martha of the home; son Byron Yeatman of Houston, TX; two daughters Beverly Weber of Wichita, KS, and Patricia Neahring of Ponca City; three stepchildren, Mike Melton of Enid, Mark Melton of Marlow, and Merla Ritchie of Enid; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers Elmer Yeatman of Oklahoma City, and Curtis Yeatman of Arkansas; and two sisters, Violet Freeman of Noble, and Hazel McCord of Oklahoma City.

     Luther was preceded in death by two wives, one brother, and three sisters.

     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Enid Fire Rescue Tools.
