A funeral service for
Zennon “Jack” Nacola
Miller, age 79, of Enid,
will be at 10:00 A.M. on
Tuesday, July 10, 2007,
at the Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Lesly Broadbent
will officiate.
Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery,
with arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home. Visitation
with the family will be
Monday evening from 6:00
to 9:00 PM at the
funeral home.
He was born
to Edward F. and Velva
A. (Chodrick) Miller on
May 11, 1928 in Enid,
and died Saturday, July
7, 2007, at St. Mary’s
Regional Medical Center
in Enid.
He grew up
and attended school in
Enid. On March 16,
1948, he married Phyllis
Johnson in Enid, and
they made their home
there. He served
in the United States
Army during the Korean
Conflict. After
his discharge, he was an
auto parts salesman, and
then was a co-owner of
Motor Supply Company.
He later worked for
Owens Supply. For
a short time, he was a
realtor. Jack then
worked for the City of
Enid and was the manager
of the warehouse.
After his retirement, he
enjoyed working in his
yard and his pet dog
Polly. He was a
member of Willow View
United Methodist Church,
and a member of
the Masonic Lodge # 80,
where he was a Past
Master. He was a
Jack of all trades,
always helping somebody.
Jack is
survived by his wife
Phyllis of the home;
three daughters, Cheryl
Mitchell and husband Jim
of Enid, Janice Deitz
and husband Melvin of
Yukon, Dayna Isaacs and
husband Bruce of Enid,
and; nine grandchildren,
Jami Nolen, Lori Bates,
Zack Mitchell, Shawn
Isaacs, Tabitha Isaacs,
Lacie Shaw, Natalie
Deitz, Haylie Crawford,
and Dylan Deitz; three
great-granddaughters,
Sophie Nolen, Aspen
Mitchell and Kelsie
Bales; one brother
Dwaine Miller and wife
Mary of Drummond; and
four sisters, Verdena
Gallas of Moore, Wilma
Ammons and husband Joe
of Little Rock, AR,
Irene Woodford of
Girard, Ohio, and Joy
Stark and husband Ed of
Midland, TX,.
He was
preceded in death by his
parents and one sister
Rose Hensler.
