Chelsea was born October 4, 1983, in Okeene, Oklahoma to Steve and Dana (Vanice) Dupy and passed from this life on January 23, 2022, in Denver, Colorado. Her early childhood years were spent in Oklahoma living with her mother in Oklahoma City and her father and stepmother in Enid. She started kindergarten at Chisholm Elementary and later moved to Colorado with her mother. She spent most of her school-age years in Colorado attending elementary and middle school and would spend her summers with her family in Enid, OK. Growing up she enjoyed playing soccer, basketball and softball playing for both recreational and school teams throughout the years. Chelsea moved back to Oklahoma before her Freshman year and attended Chisholm High School and Enid High School and later would graduate high school in Colorado in 2004. After graduation, Chelsea worked for Applebee’s for nearly 15 years as a bartender/server and had “regulars” which she considered family. During that time she met the boys father. Chelsea was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved her family, friends, hip-hop music, dancing, singing loudly (and off key), Grandma Reta’s fried chicken, all shades of pink, organization, talking, watching her kids play sports, horse races and her Air Jordan shoe collection. Chelsea was ONE-OF-A-KIND; she was beautiful, smart, strong, outspoken, FULL OF LIFE and an absolute force to be reckoned with. Everyone who has ever met Chelsea will never forget the energy, charisma, and confidence she carried herself with despite how she may have felt or any difficulties she may have faced. Chelsea was a fighter! She took on all obstacles in her life with an unwavering spirit, never backing down, with a strength and determination not many possess. Chelsea was so proud of her family, and she wanted everyone to succeed and would be there to cheer them on. She was most proud of her two sons, Zachary, and Deontae Langel, who were her heart and her entire world. We are completely heartbroken but find comfort knowing Chelsea left this life on Earth for her eternal life with our Heavenly Father. She is no longer suffering in pain and is perfect in Heaven. Chelsea is survived by her children Zachary Langel, Jr. and Deontae Langel both of Enid; parents Dana Vanice Ingels and Steve and Wanda Dupy all of Enid; siblings Carissa Crump and husband Dusty of Groom, Texas, Cayla Sanders and husband Donny of Enid, and Trent Dupy and wife Tatum of Enid; grandparents El Reta Dupy of Enid, Dunlap Vanice of Prairie Village, Kansas, and Dorothy Rapp of Enid; nieces and nephews Tenley, Payson, Lydia, Weston, Quinn, Leighton and Savvy, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by Grandma Bettie Jane (Bennett) Taylor, Grandpa Leroy Dupy, Grandpa Bill Rapp, and great grandparents Clarence K. and H. Thelma Bennett.
