Brian Len Coulter

Brian Len Coulter, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on August 7, 1978, in Enid, Oklahoma to Myron and Debra (Johnson) Coulter, and passed away on September 1, 2026, in Enid, Oklahoma. Brian grew up in Goltry, Oklahoma, and graduated from Timberlake High School in 1996. He went on to further his education at Redlands Community College, where he spent two years, majoring in equine science. Following his educational pursuits, Brian dedicated 26 years of his life working alongside his father, Myron, as a skilled Millwright at Coulter Construction. His talent extended beyond his profession. He was a gifted welder and craftsman, known for his meticulous handiwork and attention to detail. Brian's heart was captured by the art of team roping, a passion ignited at age 12. He excelled in this sport, winning numerous competitions, including the Bobby Rush Memorial Roping multiple times, often riding his cherished horse, Doc. His love for sports extended to basketball, where he showcased his talent on the court during his school days, and he was also a golfer. His sense of humor and sharp wit were well-known among his friends and family. Brian was always ready with a quick remark or thoughtful opinion, and his dependability made him a cornerstone in the lives of many. For many years, his adventurous spirit led him to embrace skiing, both on snowy slopes and water, where he found joy and freedom. Brian is survived by his father, Myron Coulter of Aline; his sisters, Lindsay and her husband Matt of Waukomis, and Lacey and her husband Greg of Enid. He was an uncle to Kelsey, Brynli, Kaylee, Keegan, Bryson, and Kasen. He is also survived by his grandparents, Winnie Melrose and Marilyn Coulter. Brian is preceded in death by his loving mother, Debra Coulter, and his grandparents, Wilbur and Carolyn Johnson, Donald and Patricia Ekern, Raymond Coulter, James Helterbrake, and Harold Melrose. A service to honor and celebrate Brian’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel in Enid, Oklahoma. He will be laid to rest in Good Hope Cemetery at Helena, Oklahoma immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Bennie's Barn Equine Therapy/Riding Facility through Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, an organization that reflects Brian's lifelong love for horses and roping. Brian Len Coulter will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering loyalty, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
